Terms of use
As of 12 September 2026 · Loot Goblin 1.8.8
These terms of use apply to the Discord bot Loot Goblin (“Bot”) on Discord servers as well as the website loot.rocks and the web dashboard. The contracting party and operator is Joscha Alhelm, c/o Autorenglück ID 60084, Albert-Einstein-Str. 47, 02977 Hoyerswerda.
1. Scope, Discord rules
In addition to these terms, Discord’s terms of use and community guidelines (discord.com) apply. Where they conflict, Discord’s mandatory rules take precedence.
2. Service
Loot Goblin provides slash commands, automations and a web dashboard for guilds (including loot, events, ranks, XP, music, tickets, integrations). The service is provided at loot.rocks. The public page /status shows operational state. There is no claim to uninterrupted availability, particular features or compatibility with future Discord or third-party APIs (Twitch, YouTube, Joomla, TeamSpeak).
3. Access and permissions
- Inviting the bot to a Discord server is done by a server administrator with the required rights.
- The web dashboard is reached with a personal account (name and password) or Discord sign-in. Assigned accounts and Discord users with “Manage Server” see their assigned Discord server and the modules they were granted.
- Credentials must not be shared. The operator may lock accounts in case of abuse.
4. User duties
In particular the following is not allowed:
- Use contrary to Discord’s terms or applicable law
- Spam, flooding, raids, harassment, distributing illegal content through bot features
- Bypassing access controls, automated attacks on the website or dashboard, malicious scans
- Abuse of loot, event, ticket or moderation features to harm others
Server admins are responsible for which modules they enable and which data they enter into integrations (API keys, webhooks, channel IDs).
5. Content and responsibility
User content (messages, loot lists, event descriptions, tickets, profile fields) comes from the respective users or server admins. The operator is not obliged to review this content in advance. Unlawful content will be removed after knowledge and where possible, or the bot will be disabled on the affected server.
6. Rights in the bot
Source code and the Loot Goblin mark remain with the respective rights holder. Use via loot.rocks does not entitle anyone to present the service as a third party’s own product.
7. Liability
The bot is provided “as is”. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law, except for injury to life, body or health, essential contractual duties, intent and gross negligence. No liability for outages of Discord, Lavalink, YouTube, Twitch or other third-party APIs, data loss or misconfiguration by admins.
8. Suspension and removal
In case of violations the bot may refuse the service for individual users or servers (kick/ban of the bot, dashboard account lock). Users may remove the bot from the server at any time; dashboard accounts can be deleted on request to the contact in the legal notice.
9. Changes
These terms may be adjusted when features, law or Discord requirements make it necessary. The current version is at /nutzung. Material changes will be indicated on the website where reasonable.
10. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If the user is a consumer resident in the EU, mandatory protections of the country of residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is the operator’s seat. If a clause is invalid, the remainder stays in force.
